“Unboxing the Future” in the Toy Book’s 2025 BIG Issue

Design Force, Inc., proudly announces that The Toy Book has published its president, Ted Mininni’s latest article as a feature in the publication’s Outside the Box column of the 2025 BIG issue. The piece, titled: Unboxing the Future: Toy Trends to Watch in 2025, which examines the innovation and emerging trends shaping the look of today’s toy packaging and determines where things are heading this year.

As the article begins, Mr. Mininni states, “as an expert in package design for the toy and entertainment industries, I have an opportunity to observe on an ongoing basis how the role of packaging is transforming. Today’s toy packaging is a strategic asset that enhances the brand experience at retail by engaging consumers emotionally. Heading into 2025, the industry is embracing innovation to meet evolving consumer expectations and address the needs of popular products in various categories. He then goes on to highlight the fact that sustainability is still taking center stage, interactive packaging and elevated unboxing experiences are still prevalent, and how storytelling is enhanced through structural environments.
