Design Force, Inc., proudly announces that Gillie and Marc, the British and Australian collaborative artists known for creating some of the world’s most innovative public sculptures, are now entering the realm of brand licensing, and have engaged the Design Force team to create the Gillie and Marc consumer product licensing program style guide.
Gillie and Marc, a husband-and-wife artistic duo on a mission for love, create meaningful contemporary art and public art installations across the globe that inspire change and hope. Their art is known for its use of bold and bright colors, and for the way that it invites people from all walks of life to participate in their vision of a more connected and compassionate world. They have been called “the most successful and prolific creators of public art in New York’s history” by the New York Times.
Spanning a variety of mediums, including sculpture, painting and mixed media, their art often features playful, anthropomorphic animals that embody their message of inclusivity and unity. Most apparent within their artwork are their iconic characters, Rabbitwoman and Dogman.
The licensing program’s style guide will feature an extensive range of artwork in a bold, colorful vector style with a focus on Rabbitwoman and Dogman set in natural environments and cityscapes around the world. The style guide will also feature compositions and border treatments, a comprehensive packaging program, and broad variety of product and collaboration inspiration representing the luxury fashion, luxury home and luxury travel categories.
