Packaging Our Fascination with Space Exploration on toybook.com

Design Force, Inc., proudly announces that The Toy Book has published its president, Ted Mininni’s latest article as a feature in the publication’s Outside the Box column of the August 2021 issue. The piece, titled: Packaging Our Fascination with Space Exploration (on page 92) discusses the fact that so many space-themed toys are shining bright this year due to the recent initiatives in space exploration.

As the article begins, Mr. Mininni explains that “by nature, we are compelled to explore and discover, pushing the limits of science and technology in the process” and how our fascination with space exploration is “driven by our need to know more about our place in the universe, and it typically originates for most of us during childhood.” He goes on to highlight some of the activity currently taking place in space exploration, and that it’s not surprising that they “have not gone unnoticed by the toy industry.”

Mr. Mininni then cites various examples of toys representing a variety of categories, from educational science kits to replicas of spacecraft from ongoing missions, stating, “there are plenty of fun, space-themed products for kids – and their parents – to get excited about.”
