Ted Mininni Featured in the Toy Book’s 2026 BIG Toy Fair Issue.

Design Force President and Creative Director Ted Mininni has contributed a new thought leadership article to the Outside the Box column of the February 2026 BIG Toy Fair issue of The Toy Book.

In the article, Blind Packaging by Design: From Novelty to Strategy, Mininni traces the evolution of blind boxes and bags from early capsule vending formats to one of today’s most effective and enduring packaging strategies. He explains how blind packaging has shifted from a tactical novelty into a fully realized system where packaging, product, and collectability are intentionally designed as a unified consumer experience.
