Competition asset development for Concacaf’s premier women’s national team tournament

Concacaf partnered with Design Force, Inc. to develop a comprehensive asset guide for the Concacaf W Championship, one of the region’s most important competitions in women’s football. Serving as the sole qualification pathway to both the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup and the 2028 Summer Olympics, the tournament brings together 30 national teams competing for a place in an eight-team, win-or-go-home Championship in November 2026.

Built to support licensees, the guide delivers a cohesive system of brand assets and design elements tailored for licensed consumer products. The visual approach reflects the intensity, pride, and momentum of the women’s game, capturing both the competitive stakes and the growing global spotlight on the sport.

Translating energy and movement into a dynamic product system

Our goal was to turn the competition’s identity into a flexible, expressive design toolkit. At the core is an energetic illustration style that highlights women in authentic football poses, using motion lines, Concacaf diamond motifs, and layered textures to convey speed, strength, and competitive spirit.

From this foundation, we developed a range of themed assets to support product storytelling. Event Brand Marks–themed designs center on the Concacaf W Championship “W” icon, filled with illustrated player patterns, including both a core version in the competition’s pink, white, and black palette and country-specific variations representing seven Member Associations. A Final-themed design incorporates competing nation tri-codes alongside a split “W” icon, while a Champions-themed system celebrates the tournament winner through trophy-driven compositions applied across both generic and localized versions.

To broaden appeal, we also created a Volar™-themed design aimed at youth and family audiences, extending the competition’s presence beyond the pitch. Together, these assets form a unified system that allows partners to create products that feel vibrant, current, and deeply connected to the energy of the Concacaf W Championship.
