Marvel Entertainment engaged our design team to develop Marvel-inspired mascot designs for the Detroit Red Wings and Columbus Blue Jackets, who faced-off in the 2025 Navy Federal Credit Union Stadium Series game at Ohio Stadium, Columbus, OH on March 1, 2025. The mascot designs supported a promotional partnership between the NHL, ESPN and Marvel Entertainment, and were featured in an experiential activation at the league’s PreGame fan fest ahead of the game and within the broadcast on ESPN.

Our solution for the Columbus Blue Jackets’ mascot is a “Marvelized” interpretation of the team’s mascot, Stinger. Our solution for the Detroit Red Wings’ mascot is an anthropomorphized sports car for a “Motor City” tie-in. Both mascots are designed to reflect both teams’ branding and jersey design for the Stadium Series event.
