Before the Disney purchase and their subsequent decision to reboot the Star Wars franchise with three new films, Lucasfilm had planned to re-release all of the existing six films in theaters. To support this re-release, we were engaged by Lucasfilm to develop artwork for multiple style guides with design elements reflecting the characters and storylines from the Original Trilogy and the Prequel Trilogy.

For this initiative, we were asked to create a series of patterns, badges and iconography, in a range of visual trends and stylistic approaches, depicting imagery from movie posters, comic books, illustration archives, character photography and scenes from the iconic films themselves.
